Darlington & the Dales Youth Orchestra -
an independent orchestra for young people.

We have a clear artistic vision covering a varied and challenging repertoire, including established works and contemporary music. Our aim is to develop the musicianship of young people performing together under the direction of professional conductors and orchestral musicians.

We operate on an event-led basis - rehearsals are planned around and tailored to each project. This type of scheduling accommodates the commitments undertaken by our young musicians, professional conductor and tutors.
